The Return of the Regulars; Fort Bridger
Fort Boise Garrison and the Fort Bridger staff are excited to announce a living history event set for August 5-8th, 2021, "The Return of the Regulars!" This event will be an observed immersion event where living historians (reenactors) will bring the old army post back to life while visitor observe the soldiers going about their duty and civilians conducting their business on the post. The staff of Fort Bridger is allowing us a wonderful opportunity and unprecedented access to the buildings and a full range of possibilities. We will thank them for the use of the fort by conducting meaningful fatigue duties such as white washing fencing, shaping logs, or anything else they would like us to do. Please don’t think it will be all work, we are looking into a dance Saturday night and the usual post Parade! Please join us as we build new foundation of living history events at Historic Fort Bridger! Register Now! Registration will close at 65 Infantry soldiers, please don’t hesitate! Also, Please let us know if you would like to contribute to this project!
